Examiner.com is a growing source of news and information on the Internet, and I am now the Pop Culture Editor of examiner.com in Richmond. My first piece is about the classic novel (and the upcoming differently-titled Pixar movie) A Princess of Mars, and its Richmond connection.
examiner.com involves what is called crowdsourcing — which, to be honest, I consider may well be the future of community journalism — and the writers get paid for it (with luck) based on readership and popularity.
Hey, if you’re a blogger (or not) but at least if you know how to put a sentence together (that’s a noun and verb, minimum), go see what examiner.com is all about. If you have something to report, then there are probably people who want to hear you.
