I have no idea. Until today, I’d never heard of her; nor had I heard of her talk radio show. This is Tammy:

Now that I’ve looked her up on Wikipedia, I must admit I like how she describes herself politically: independent conservative. Fair enough. That makes me an independent progressive. But then she goes off on tangents:

Bruce’s Web site describes her as “an openly gay, pro-choice, gun owning, pro-death penalty “progressive feminist” who has voted for presidents as diverse as Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.

Who and what the Hell is she?

The reason I’m writing about her is a claim she made recently calling The President and First Lady “trash in the White House.” Here’s the story.

During the campaign, apparently some people were wearing t-shirts that disparaged the also-hittable Sarah Palin, calling her a C-word that rhymes with “punt.” Tammy, as described in this story, blamed the shirts as an organized effort of the Obama campaign.

Rush Limbo, Ann Coulter, Fox News, Bill O’Reilly . . . there is something wrong and hateful about you morons. Take Tammy Bruce — please. And read between the lines of the Wikipedia entry. Ask yourself what her motivation against the Obamas might be. Why she spews hate. Why she’s not progressive about them.

She’s got some problems.
